<description>I want to know how to send over 700 emails without utilizing CONSTANT CONTACT. We download out membership database from a product and then it is sent to the TO: box in Outlook. I was told this area would only hold 32,000 characters and that Outlook was my problme and not the vendor. How can I determine this definitively? I know companies out there use Outlook and they have more than 1000 employees. What am I doing incorrectly.

Neo,

If I'm understanding you correctly, all of your 700 members' email addresses are being placed in the To: box. Is there a particular reason that you want all members in the to box? Do you want them to be able to see each other addresses? What you may find is that not only is there a size limitation in Outlook, but that your Exchange or domain host may have a limit on recipients per email. I believe with MailStreet for example, you can only have 200 recipients per email. As discussed in Arrow-Tip #7 you could use a mail merge, but you are still likely to get tagged as SPAM if you do.
